112g (4oz) butter, 225g (8oz) honey,2 eggs, beaten, 225g(8oz) self raising flour,112g (4oz) glacé cherries Cream together the butter and honey until light and fluffy. Add the beaten eggs a little at a time and mix well. Fold in the flour and cherries. Turn into a 180mm (7 inch) greased and lined cake tin. Bake at 170 degC, GM 3 for about 45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool. Display on a white paper plate with a doily, covered with polythene or cling film.
